January Update

"Date Night"in ASM #700, story by Jen Van Meter, art by me!

Can't believe it's been a month since I last posted! In my last entry we had gone to Disneyland and since we got back home, it's been a constant go-go-go straight through the holidays and into the New Year. A few cool things of note since my last blog post:

Amazing Spider-Man 700! I was lucky enough to work with the amazing and wonderful Jen Van Meter on a story featured in #700. We had so much fun working on this, I hope you'll pick up a copy if you haven't already!
I've got a few covers coming out in the not so distant future as well, for both Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake #2 and more My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (I believe issue #2 was just out, so go pick it up!) I'll be continuing some work on the Pony covers into 2013, which I'm stoked on! It's been a real treat painting these!

Speaking of Ponies, that reminds me of upcoming conventions for 2013! I'll be a guest at the Big Apple Ponycon and Asbury Park Comicon. Pretty excited for both shows (which are both in March). I'll be opening up a very limited number of commission spots for full color, smaller size paintings for both shows. Like cons in the past, I'm unfortunately not going to be able to bring all of my painting supplies to the show, so I'll be taking a pre-show commission list. If you'd like a piece for pick-up at either show, please feel free to e-mail me at sbuscema@gmail.com to get on the list and make arrangements.

Also, I'd like to put a huge THANK YOU out there. It hasn't even a year since I got serious about selling my merch, art prints and jewelry items in my Etsy shop. The response has been incredible, and I just want to thank everyone who's been supporting my work and little shop! I'm really so grateful♥
I've got some neat little freshly made pieces, just in time for Valentine's Day. I'm in the process of making more lockets (can't believe how fast they sold out last week, thank you!!), but *just* listed some Victorian mourning inspired pieces (some made with vintage supplies)! here's a peek at a few of the new designs below...

Now available in my store!
