An idea I was throwing around tonight for a new pinup painting (One of my favorite alien invader ladies to grace the movie screen), I have a feeling it's going to be another late night. Progress to come!

A little guy from a gang of beat chicks I drew in my sketchbook last week. Figured he'd be fun to do in color. I think he may need a few friends, looks kinda lonely all there by himself.

This is a piece I just completed this evening. Being new to acrylics, it was a little bit of a challenge working in something other then gouache or watercolor-but a lot of fun (and sanding and layering!) . There are tons textures and things to play around with in this medium, which I hope to experiment with more.
