May 10th, be sure to stop by the opening of "KISS the canvas", KISS tribute art show. The lineup of artists involved in the show should make for some amazing, fun and unique pieces. I'm anxious to see what everyone comes up with! Hopefully I'll be able to get one more little painting done in time.

Yay Spring! Season changes always bring new ideas and beginnings, making it much easier to get paint on paper! Lately my brushes have been moving themselves and the pictures forming in a looser and more energetic way. Growth is happening and it feels wonderful. As of May 30th I will no longer be holding down a day job in the office. I'll be taking the leap and start my journey as a full time illustrator. It's scary, wonderful, exciting, nerve wracking and about a hundred other things I can think of. In short, I can't wait!

The next few months are jam packed with a hectic balance of personal projects, freelance work, lots of traveling (From San Diego to Venice!), planning our wedding and many trips to the ocean. I look forward to collecting inspiration from the next few months and will be making a lot more posts and new work.
